I knew VAFO from my previous employment in the pet food industry. I had always liked their products – the design and the quality – and mainly the people presenting them. They were always professional and friendly and fun to be around. As soon as a job opening came up, I immediately applied for it. I started out in the overseas purchasing department and sales. After about two years, I was chosen to oversee a project relating to the expansion of production of new product formats. When that was complete, I received an offer to head the private labels department, and two years later I took over the entire sales department. Each job has been an amazing learning experience and given me lots of new information and knowledge. And that’s what I like most about my job. No stereotypes. Just new experiences and new challenges every day. And VAFO’s also one big happy family of people whose work is also their passion. You can see it in the atmosphere at work, the friendly relationships, the supportive presence of our four-legged buddies. And in the numerous company and noncompany events we organize together. We’re an awesome team!
