At VAFO Group, we take the safety and quality of all our products very seriously and this is no different in the case of CARRY PET FOOD, where our handcrafted rawhide chewbones are produced. These products are safe and comply with all relevant European pet food regulations. As one of the few manufacturers of rawhide-based chews in the EU, we are fully aware of recent concerns in the market and have closely followed all developments.

Our rawhide chews are handcrafted using raw materials sourced exclusively from approved European suppliers. These materials are also used in the food industry for products such as collagen, gelatine, and sausage casings.

We conduct regular laboratory testing of rawhide for heavy metals, and our suppliers provide documentation to confirm compliance with safety standards. All substances used in production are approved for use in the feed industry, and our factory operates under continuous veterinary supervision.

Importantly, none of the reported safety incidents involving rawhide chewbones have been linked to products manufactured by VAFO. All known cases have involved items sourced from outside the EU.

Rawhide chewbones provide added functional value. They support dental hygiene, help reduce boredom, and satisfy natural chewing behaviour, contributing to both oral health and overall well-being in dogs.
